Abstrak
Motoric ability is one of the developmental processes that must be passed in a child's life, one of which is fine motor skills. According to UNICEF in 2020 data obtained a total of 27,5% or the equivalent of 3 million children experiencing developmental disorders, especially in toddlers. Data from the West Java Health Office found that 1-3% of children experience motor delays. Data from two hospitals in Bekasi states taht 11,3% of children experience fine motor delays. The research method is qiantitative analytic with cross sectional approach. The sample in this study used total sampling, namely the number of samples equal to the number of population, namely 45 children aged 4-6 years and parents at TKIT Al-Manshurriyah, analysis using univariate and bivariat with stastical tests using Chi-Square test. The result of the bivariate analysis show that there is a relationship between fine motor development in children an parenting style with a P-Value = 0,0001, and there is a relationship between fine motoric development in children and parental knowledge with a P-Value = 0,039, that is all P-Value = Pα 0,05. The conclusion of this study, there is a realtionship between parenting style and fine motor development in children and there is a realtionship between parental knowledge and fine motor development in children at TKIT Al-Manshuriyyah 2023. The suggestion of this research is to add broader insight regarding the importance of having knowledge and understanding f fine morotic development in children.
